Place the pizza dough in a lightly oiled mixing bowl, cover it with a clean towel, and set aside for 2 hours in a warm, draft-free location.

Punch it down and place it on a lightly floured surface. Divide the dough into two equal parts. The pizza dough should have increased in size after 2 hours.
